Carly's Pre-K Graduation

Carly's preschool celebrated the end of the year with a small program and graduation for the pre-k class. Her preschool is very small, and Carly's graduation class is extra small - just three girls!

All the 4 and 5 year olds sang a few songs together.

Harper, Carly, and Addison (the graduates) sang a solo.

Then, in a surprise finish, the graduates were dressed in cap and gown and walked across the stage.  Over course I was laughing and tearing up a bit, especially as I watched a slide show of Carly from birth to May!  Awww, memory lane!

I don't think Carly knew what to do in that giant cape and gown.

The three proud graduates!  Carly is going to miss her friends next year!
Finally, Carly with the wonderful director, Miss Angela, of Happy Days Preschool.

It was bittersweet to watch Carly graduate from this preschool.  She attended school here since she was 9 months old, and she was their first and only baby for a while!  Miss Amy and Miss Angela spoiled her rotten!  The teachers at our school love my kids and take such good care of them while I work.  Carly will miss them, but little Tyler has a few more years with them!

Carly's Dance Recital

Following Tyler's baptism on Mother's Day, Carly participated in her second dance recital. She had lots of fun with dance with Miss Nicola!

I'm not sure where Carly picked up these funny poses!

The dance recital DVD includes a picture like the below of Carly.  Too funny!

Happy Days dance class!
A few action shots below.  John got close to the stage to snap a few (very dark due to no flash) pictures.

He also took a few videos of her.

Tyler's Baptism

We had a busy Mother's Day 2012! Tyler was baptized, and Carly had her second dance recital. We started Sunday with Tyler's baptism. Both sets of grandparents, plus my Meemaw, were in town for the festivities. John's sister Lynette and her family drove over from Keller for the day too.

Tyler in his cute baptism outfit.

We love our preacher at church and were thrilled to have him baptize Tyler.

A certain little girl was not cooperating and is therefore not in this picture . . . but it's cute with Tyler, Nannie, Pop, and Meemaw!
