Happy Days
Carly started a new day care last Monday. We love it! It is closer to the house and on the way to downtown. Most importantly, we love the teachers and director, and they love Carly! Her teacher, Miss Amy, likes to play with Carly's hair.
I discovered today that Carly can drink from a straw. She's also cruising around the furniture and learning to stand up without holding on to anything. Miss Amy, her teacher, is trying to show her how to blow kisses. She hasn't caught on just yet. She has started saying 'mama' finally, but she has no idea that I'm mama.
Here are a few recent videos of her playing around the house. She likes to push everything!!

March Videos and Pictures
Random pictures and videos from March. Carly has learned to say bye bye and open and close her hand. Here are two videos of this new skill. Neither are particularly great, but you get the idea.
She thought this big bottle should have milk in it.

Laughing at Dad
We went to our friend Sarah's wedding in Lufkin this past weekend. Carly was great on the drive and at the hotel. Whew! We were even able to watch a movie while she slept in her pack'n'play in the same room.

Nannie's Spring Break
The week after Easter was my mom's spring break, so Carly and I stayed for a few extra days.
The only picture I took of my Mom and Dad with Carly.

The retro high chair... from '70s.

I took her back to the pediatrician for the 3rd time in as many weeks after we landed in Dallas. Turned out that she still had an ear infection despite two rounds of antibiotics. We decided to try a round of antibiotic shots. The nurse said the shots (she had one shot each day for 3 days)would sting a lot, but Carly only cried for a few seconds each time. Its been about 5 days since the last shot, and so far she seems better. Hopefully we won't be visiting the doctor again until her 9 month checkup!

Easter in Little Rock
We spent Easter in Little Rock at my parent's house. Robert, Julie, Madison, and Riley came as well. We had a great time. Unfortunately Carly was sick for most of the weekend and week, but she was a trooper.
Family picture - Easter morning.
John and I dyed Easter eggs on Saturday. We made an egg for every member of the family.
