In no particular order - some videos and pictures from the last couple of weeks.

She only has one tooth so far.

She thinks her car seat is a toy. Hmm, who does that remind me of? AC?

She loves her reflection - including on the fridge!
Jenny - do you recognize Carly's homecoming decoration? She found it on the floor and LOVES chewing on it.

7 Months Old!

A Visit from Pop

Carly's Pop (aka my Dad) came to visit us last week. He was a ton of help during a very busy week for me. Carly loved having Pop here. Pop, please come visit again, and you can bring Nanny next time.



Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures while he was here. These two pictures and the video are all I have.

What a Beautiful Weekend

The weather was FANTASTIC in Dallas this weekend. We spent some time on a patio Saturday. Today, Carly was ready to go play at 9:00 am.

"Mom, can we go out and play?"

"After errands? Yay!"

Yes, she's crawling towards the pool.

And yes, that's my hand on her back. Left hand keeping Carly from falling in the water, right hand taking pictures. I had no interest in retrieving a baby from the frigid pool water, but I also wanted the picture.

Carly's not sure what she thinks of the dry grass. She actually seemed to like crawling on the patio more than the grass.

She's filthy! Check out that dirty knee.

Another New Skill

She can pull up! She started pulling up on things last Sunday, February 3.




Her favorite thing to pull up on is the laundry basket. Unfortunately, its not a good choice. I snapped this picture just before the laundry basket tipped over.

The previous owners of our house left behind this fireplace guard. Good thing since she's already fallen once while standing like this.

Carly loves her step stool! Thanks Robert, Julie, Maddy, and Riley.

She's Crawling!

Carly started crawling this week! She started crawling on Tuesday, and she's getting better every day. These videos are from today.
