Swimming Lessons

 I signed Carly up for preschool swimming lessons at the city pool this month. I am such a wise pregnant mom and signed her up during the last session, which happened to be at the beginning of a string of 100 degree plus temperatures.  So wise.  It was hot, but she liked the class.  She certainly can't swim, but I didn't expect her to be able to.  However, she did learn how to put her face in the water.  See the video at the end! 

Carly bought her very own nail polish (Thanks Nannie and Pop), so she had to show off her pretty nails. 

Carly's Third Birthday

I made cupcakes, from scratch, for Carly to take to school on her birthday.  She was very excited about her pink cupcakes with sprinkles, and I must say they were pretty tasty! 

After school she opened some presents from us, then we took her to ChickFilA for dinner and play time.  She was thrilled! 

After dinner we had cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday. 

Birthday Party!

We celebrated Carly's 3rd birthday with a Dora themed swim party.  I wonder how many years we can get away with a swim party for her? 

 Carly had a lot of fun opening presents this year.
