Aubrey Cate's Toys are Fun!!

AC's toys are way better than the ones at our house!

Next Skill: Walking

Carly is getting closer to walking.

She loved the walker at Amy and Eric's house, so we bought her one today. So far she's been more interested in the square, circle, and triangle that came with the walker. Once we get our grass cut, she'll hopefully enjoy pushing her toy in the yard.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

We love the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Dallas! Jimmy and Shannon, the Cowans, and our family all met at Lovers and Greenville and had a great time.

Crazy Jimmy

I bought Carly this cute hat to protect her head from burning. She has my skin tone, which means she is definitely prone to burning! She didn't mind the hat too much.

Crashed out about halfway through the parade.

This was Aubrey Cate's 2nd St. Patrick's Day parade. John and I took her last year while her parents spent an evening away. Here's a picture from last year's parade. Gosh, she's grown and changed so much in a year!

Visit to the Arboretum

We had a fun weekend with my best friends. Jenny and Joe drove up from Houston, and Laura and Thomas flew from Seattle. This was the first time the four couples (including Amy and Eric and John and I) had been together in quite some time. We had a great time together. As Amy's post (see link below) said - Thank Goodness for Good Friends.

Laura and Carly. Thomas' shoe is almost as big as Carly!

Sleepy Girl

Yes, she is sound asleep in this position. She didn't budge when I snapped the pictures or when I touched her back. Crazy girl.
