Some videos from November

Tyler will roll over - every once in a while.  This video is from mid-November when Tyler was 8 weeks old.

Carly loves her little brother!

Tyler smiling - 2 months

Tyler really found his voice around 2 months.  He can be really loud!

Carly practicing her dance moves in mid-November.  She LOVES dance class.

Around the house - November

We had a busy November, spending a week in Arkansas in early November and several days in Marion for Thanksgiving.  We still found plenty of time for fun around our house.
Carly enjoyed some tricycle riding one beautiful warm Wednesday after a trip to the Children's Aquarium in Fair Park.

Tyler and I had fun watching Carly that day.

Carly loving on her little brother.
The big girl suddenly loves the baby play mat.  Ha.

Some smiles from Tyler!
We went to the zoo one beautiful day with Elizabeth and Holden
I love the new Giants of the Savana area at the zoo.  It's awesome!  Look at all those giraffes!
More smiles from my big boy!

The Fikars moved to Texas after Thanksgiving.  Abbi was excited to meet and hold Tyler.  Look at that smile on Tyler's face!

Thanksgiving in Marion

We spent Thanksgiving in Marion with John's family this year.

Tyler, 2 months
John took Carly and Summer for a ride in Grandpa's tractor.

Cousin Amber (7.5) met Tyler (2 months)
Carly (3.5) and Sasha (almost 4) had a fabulous time together.
They played and played and rarely fought over toys.  It was really fun to watch them.

Trip to Arkansas

John had to travel out of the country for an entire week, so I packed up my kiddos and headed to Arkansas to visit the family.  Six week old Tyler did pretty well in the car.  He had a few screaming episodes, but they were mostly short lived.

We had a great time in Arkansas with everyone!
Tyler and Pop, Day 1 of our trip.
Nannie and her grandkids
Tyler had several bottles while we were at Nannie and Pop's house.  His first bottle was just after 1 month old, and I've been trying to give him a few each week.  He's not thrilled at the prospect, but he eventually gives in.
We visited the zoo on a beautiful Monday.  Many of the animals were out and about, so we enjoyed seeing more animals than usual.  We also had some fun with these cut-outs. . .

We saw Mrs. West a few times.
Meemaw and Granddaddy and Aunt Kay and Uncle Nelson came to visit one day.
Aunt Kay brought some fun dress up clothes for Carly.  She's such a girly girl - so she loved playing in these wings and skirt!
This is the view from my parent's back deck.  Beautiful fall colors!
Tyler slept for most of the visit

Carly entertained us by talking non-stop and laughing and playing with Uncle Nelson (aka Ho Ho)
Carly even sat like a little lady - legs crossed!
Meemaw, Granddaddy, and Tyler (7 weeks)

We also saw my Pawpaw one day.  It was so fun to see all the family and introduce them to Tyler.
One last picture from our zoo visit.
